David Writes Fantasy

At the start of 2025, I was laid off (technically, I had my offer withdrawn) from the the federal government. To help pass the time, and so that I didn’t go insane, I started writing.

I have always enjoyed creative writing but because of feedback I got as a teen, I thought it was impossible for me to have any sort of success at it. Instead, I wrote things that I was mostly too embarrassed to show anyone.

But with time on my hands, I decided to give writing a try. I have always loved high fantasy, especially Lord of the Rings-style stuff, but I lack the confidence to try anything that serious so I started with much smaller stakes. I hope you enjoy what I have created. I never thought I’d say this about something I wrote, but I think it’s pretty good.
